OVF Import task fails when you use VMware Infrastructure Client 2.5 to import OVF package
Details
Importing OVF packages to a managed or unmanaged ESX Server by using the virtual appliance import option in VI Client 2.5 succeeds only if the hardware family version of the OVF package matches the hardware version of the destination ESX Server.
Solution
Use Converter to import the OVF package. Converter is more flexible during imports, even when the hardware family of the OVF package does not match that of the destination.
